The ability to walk around
and pick up garbage.
Volunteer Responsibilities
On April 21 to the 23rd,
2006, there will be a county wide effort to beautify
our Rivers and Creeks. We need volunteers to help pick
up trash on the designated sites that include the Niagara
and Buffalo Rivers, Cazenovia Creek, Scajaquada Creek,
Buffalo Creek, Ellicott Creek, Tonawanda Creek, Cayuga
Creek, and South Park Lane. Volunteers will clean for
about 3 hours. We also need a smaller number of volunteers
to serve as site captains who will help us to oversee
the event. Since picking up trash can really work up
an appetite, we would appreciate food donations as
well! This event will be a lot of fun and it is a great
way to celebrate Earth Day. We hope to see you there!
Cheers!
