The Enchanted Forest Wildlife
Sanctuary is owned and run by Eve Fertig, a respected and
nationally renowned wildlife rehabilitator. The sanctuary's
mission is to protect and preserve animal habitats
and endangered species. It provides care and shelter
for injured and orphaned wildlife.

Over eighteen years of age.

Skills Needed
To be a licensed volunteer, individuals
must first complete courses which are entitled "Saving Endangered
Species" and "Caring for Injured and Orphaned Wildlife."
They then must pass a test in order to obtain a license which
will make it possible to volunteer in the aforementioned
capacity. The next course will take place in Alden on October

Responsibilities
Responsibilities for licensed
volunteers would include feeding, handling and implementing
first-aide to wildlife residents of the sanctuary.
