The BPS Howard Lewis Parent
Center provides academic tutoring, reading and math
clinics, computer lessons, and music instruction to
Buffalo Public School children in grades pre-K through
12 along with their parents. It is our goal to help
families achieve academic and social success. Our evening
program is conducted Monday thru Thursday from 5:15pm
to 7:30pm. PLEASE CALL FOR MORE INFORMATION!
Type of Volunteer Needed
College Students or 12th
Grade High School Students
Volunteer Skills Needed
The volunteer should enjoy
working with children but be able to communicate well
with adults. Good reading and math skills are required.
Must be flexible as it pretains to working throughout
the center
Volunteer Responsibilities
Tutor students in grades
pre k through high school.
Work with full time staff in completing tutoring and
other tasks at the Parent Center.
