Organization Mission |
 |
Each day the Buffalo City Mission's Women and Children's Shelter- Cornerstone Manor provides women and children with food, clothing and a clean safe place to stay. Through the programs of Cornerstone Manor we are able to address the underlying problems of homelessness by offering practical programs in parenting, budgeting, job training and education, as well as long-term counseling and spiritual guidance. Cornerstone Manor sits at the corner of North and Michigan. The spacious building provides emergency shelter for up to 16 single women and 5 families seeking protection from city streets or an abusive relationship. Up to 12 families and 46 single women can find hope and healing in the facility's two-year resident recovery program.
